We are proud of our community involvement.
CCBSS is committed to giving back to the communities where we do business — and call home. We encourage community service, both by sponsoring initiatives as a company and by offering our associates programs that support their volunteer activities. Donating time and resources, all of our locations work with worthy organizations to provide support locally and nationally.
Supporting Our Neighbors!
Our Targeted Sales Team, located in Tulsa, OK, have volunteered at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma several times throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The mission of this food bank is to feed the hungry of eastern Oklahoma through a network of partner agencies and to engage communities in ending hunger. The team had various roles ranging from registering families as they arrived, keeping food easily accessible, and stocking and loading the food items into the cars of recipients. The team had a great time helping during these unprecedented times and were happy to showcase the true spirit of CCBSS.
Coming Together for Good!
CCBSS associates across all locations joined together to support the R.I.C.H. House School Supply Drive, located in Tampa, FL. The Tampa Police Department’s Resources in Community Hope (R.I.C.H.) House program serves as a safe haven for kids in the city’s most economically challenged areas. The Tampa-based team stuffed backpacks alongside the Tampa Police Department officers with donations from our associates. Our team was honored to have contributed to bettering the lives of children!
Each year, many of our CCBSS associates in Atlanta support the Metro Atlanta Salvation Army holiday gift drive. The Atlanta-based team was recently recognized for their ongoing commitment and partnership with this meaningful organization. During their most recent holiday campaign, the Metro Atlanta Salvation Army served 3,350 community members. Our CCBSS Atlanta-based team directly helped 40 of those families.
Uniting for Positive Impact
Numerous CCBSS associates participated in community service efforts in Atlanta, Tampa, and Tulsa supporting International Coastal Cleanup Day. This globally recognized sustainability effort is held each year and encourages people to clean the ocean and waterways of trash and debris. Tampa-based associates cleaned along Gandy Beach, picking up five hundred pounds of trash from mangroves and along the shoreline. In Center Hill Park, Atlanta-based associates cut down bushes, tree branches and removed debris from an area near the Proctor Creek watershed which feeds into the Chattahoochee River. Tulsa-based associates volunteered at River Parks, where they collected trash along the Arkansas River and the trails of the park. For those CCBSS associates who choose to do independent projects did such things as clean their backyards, local parks, and neighborhoods. Our CCBSS team members were delighted to participate in this impactful event.
